I boot it up recently after I left for 2 years, the game looks the same without any changes, the city building, the diplomacy all the same, and it's suck, this game can only live by modder

Bannerlord have been a gold mine for youtubers and disappointment for gamers and modders. I secretly still hope TW can fix the core game somehow, just the battles are better, the sieges also but they are very irrealisitic with way too much defensive huge catapults.

The simple answer was to reskin Black flag and spin it off as its own franchise. But Ubisoft apparently loves doing things the hard way. And of course it didn't need 8 years to release such mediocrity.

Honestly, I just want the map extended beyond what is already there. We already know that the actual game map in the game files is absolutely massive. Its like 50 times the size of the playable area. There are texture files and asset files for stuff like the Japanese, Chinese and Indian inspired nations. I don't know if this was scrapped content due to budget constraints or time, but the fact that they still exist and weren't removed is possibly an indicator that they had grander ambitions for Bannerlord. Whether those ambitions are realised is another thing entirely, though... I love this game. I especially love the companion only challenge without using the companion limit increase mods. Out manoeuvring armies with only like 30 dudes is extremely fulfilling...

They would have to be idiots to go to a different game this game literally does not even have content for the end game they are not finished with the game.

Its not all of the people in the company am sure theres great great people who can make real good games but the big wigs just ruin everything

I must be the only odd one out in the community, new game im stomping bandits left and right, become a merc and harass the enemy lords at the back of their territory eventually kiting an entire army around their lands while my kingdom takes fief after fief nigh uncontested, i then become a vassal and quickly get a few fiefs and fill them with just enough battanian champions to shred through anything sent their way, declare my own kingdom, wipe the floor with the old kingdom so they sue for peace, obtain an unstoppable force of khan guard and ensure permanent peace by obliterating any kingdoms dumb enough to declare war on anyone else, eventually claiming the entire map after many stupid decisions from the AI.

this game feels like it is bag full of skirmisher battle with not much of an actual content. you go out there gather some men, fight battle, lose some, go out there gather more men, and that's the game.

Look up kendo , it has been around for years . Full combat but in samurai clothing . Watched some of it at a kickboxing tournament over 30 years ago . Brutal .

At the start of the game, build a gatherer's hut just near your base and fill it up with 4 people, and you are good to go.

LOL, Manor Lords is just like many other games I seen developed, alot of games copy one another in some form.... I'm no fan of Play way Games, but, I can say Manor Lords copied many others games like the Foundation, AOE and many others... I been a developer for decades and I seen all of these type of games for decades... Songs of Syx, RimWorld, Life is Feudal: Forest Village and many others, How ever I 'm not bashing Manor Lord, but as a developer you should not be bashing other people games, and thinking that is ok, because they have the same or similair features, the Viking City Builder is not even out yet... I mean give me a break, you people will do anything to attack solo, or smaller companies and hype one game up.. .Shame on you... Play Way, I'm no fan of, but clearly people like there games...... They been in business since 2011..... Don't like PlayWay, then don't buy there stuff its simple.... Trailers that have a few areas they look copied, i'm no fan of either..... But, its a damn Trailer who cares.... don't like the game, don't buy it.. I could say alot of indies, copy some of my old UX/UI Designs I made from the 1990's...... Because they did, should I cry about it? Alot of these games all copy old UI Designs, that alot of us UX/UI Designers made decades ago...and still use....

Is actually pretty impressive how Ubisoft manage to feck this up because they already had a pretty solid base for a open world pirate game THEY THEMSELVES create in Black Flag and proceed to completely ignore to make something way worse.

Cant even watch a video game review without a dumbass britisher bringing in american politics into the video. Cant you worry about your collapsed economy, grooming gangs, stab central capital snd being a minority in your own country without bringing it up. Or just being able to pronounce bottle of water in a not retarded way

The second they showed gameplay of the game it died, people wanted an assassin's creed black flag but without the assassin's creed stuff or another sea of thieves but for PS5 and it didn't deliver in neither of the two

I feel like its done pretty good compared to native, it was the mods that really bring the expansion to the base game and hopefully the mods can start coming out soon.

Warband still feels better

Somewhere between this game, Manor Lords, Total War and GTA lies the *perfect* game

I am patiently hoping and waiting for a total companion/personality update for lords, companions, followers, family members, etc.... The world is great, the dynamics are great... But my wife has 3 lines. My kids have 3 lines. My trusted men who have lived and died by my side have... 3 lines.... The lords and principalities I serve with honor and glory have... 3 lines...... I yearn for something deeper? Something slightly more meaningful? I hate to sound like a hater by bringing up Warband but Warband really made me feel like the men who followed me were truly my friends. They had their distinct personalities, their own likes and dislikes, their own stories? Many times I was stopped by them during my travels to hear about their youth and how certain locations reminded them of home. I thought Bannerlord would add to this but they've seemed to have completely stripped it away.
